MAW Vriddhi, the official distributor of Dongfeng EVs in Nepal, has launched the premium Nammi electric hatchback, in Butwal.
At a recent special event in the city, the Nammi EV was officially unveiled by several key figures: Mr. Ram Krishna Khand, Mayor of Tilottama Municipality; Mr. Gyanendra Karki, President of the Tilottama Chamber of Commerce and Industries; Mr. Prashanna Panta, Business Head of MAW Vriddhi; and Mr. Yogendra Khadgi, Managing Director of Dongfeng Butwal Emerald Automobiles.
The Nammi EV is available in three variants—Nammi E1, Nammi E2, and Nammi E3—priced at NPR 29.99 lakh, NPR 31.99 lakh, and NPR 34.99 lakh, respectively.
The Dongfeng Nammi offers two battery options: a 31.4 kWh battery with up to 330 km (CLTC) or 237 km (WLTP) range, and a 42.3 kWh battery with up to 430 km (CLTC) or 317 km (WLTP). Both use a 70 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor.
The electric hatchback offers several segment-best features including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 12.8” touchscreen infotainment system, and a 360° Vision System. It also offers advanced safety technologies like Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking, all contributing to its C-NCAP 5-star rating.
At 4030/1810/1570 mm with a 2660 mm wheelbase, the Nammi EV is the largest in its class, offering a spacious interior with premium features such as frameless doors, memory seating, and an Intelligent AC System with modes like Baby Care and Rest Mode.
